He started his surgical training a t the Metropolitan Group of
Hospitals/University of Illinois in Chicago, which is his favorite
city. Then he moved to Birmingham, Alabama to pursue his career in
cardiac surgery at the University of Alabama under the tutelage of Dr.
A.D. Pacifico. After finishing his training he moved to the
University of Florida where he spent another year specializing in
complex aortic surgery.

He has particular interest in Adult Cardiac Surgery and Aortic
Surgery. He has also spent a year doing in research in Cardiac Heart
Transplantation at the Texas Heart Institute.

He is married to his wife Alexandra and has two beautiful chidlren
Michelle and Marco. He loves playing soccer and is a huge fan of the
sport. He also enjoys sailing with family and friends.
